Our Membership Plans are the most convenient and cost-effective way to pay for your routine dental maintenance care at the practice. Starting from as little as 25p per day, you will be able to budget for all of your routine care with a simple monthly direct debit.

  • Joining is quick and simple by setting up a monthly direct debit to cover the cost of your Membership Plan… there are a number of ways you can join:

    • In practice, come and see our reception team and we will fill in the form for you.

    • Over the phone, call our reception team on 01434 603759.

    Join online it’s quick and simple!

    An £8.00 registration fee will be collected with your first month’s payment (a registration fee is not charged when a child joins our children’s plan). Collections by direct debit will be taken on, or shortly after, the 1st  of each month. Worldwide Dental A&E cover benefit.

    Our Dental Plans include access to a Global Dental Accident and Emergency Assistance Scheme. The Scheme is established to offer support to patients who request assistance or treatment following an accident, a dental emergency, are diagnosed with mouth cancer or who become unemployed following redundancy.

    Whilst the scheme aims to provide benefits in most cases, the scheme is a wholly discretionary scheme, not an insurance scheme. It has no obligation to provide benefits and the scheme manager will look at each request individually to decide whether or not to provide benefits.

  • These Terms are between you, the Patient, and your Dental Practice.

    This document is to be read in conjunction with the current Dental Plan promotional literature available from your Dental Practice.

    The Dental Plan is a pre-payment scheme to spread the cost of your ongoing preventative dental care on a rolling basis, and to provide additional discounts and benefits to Plan members as described in the current Dental Plan promotional literature.

    Dental care will be provided at your Dental Practice at the appropriate intervals throughout the year as per the Dental Plan level you have joined.

    Payment will be collected by Direct Debit. Payments will be collected until you cancel your Dental Plan in line with the cancellation notice required.

    Direct Debit payments will be collected on or around the 1st of the month. Should a collection fail for any reason, we will represent and attempt to collect payment again 10 days later.

    Membership of the Dental Plan will commence on receipt of the first payment, unless otherwise agreed with your Dental Practice

    You may cancel your plan by giving a minimum of one months’ notice in writing to your Dental Practice outside of any initial term.

    The initial term of your Dental Plan is 12 months from the date of joining.

    Should you cancel your Dental Plan outside of any initial term detailed by your Dental Practice, the practice reserves the right to recoup any discounts applied during this period and/or other outstanding payments due.

    Should your regular payment go unpaid, the Dental Practice will contact you to try and collect any outstanding payments due.
    It is your responsibility to attend at the agreed frequency as per your Dental Plan level. Failure to do so will not result in any refunds being issued and/or your Dental Practice reserves the right to apply a failure to attend fee.

    The Dental Practice may increase the cost of your Dental Plan at any time by giving a minimum of 10 days’ notice, but usually one months’ notice. Your practice will typically review Dental Plan pricing once per annum.

    Any communication relating to details or changes pertaining to your Dental Plan will be sent by email where possible, and post otherwise.

  • Thank you to all of the patients that have joined our membership scheme following our recent announcement regarding our transition away from NHS services. All of our existing NHS patients (those who had attended in the previous 24 calendar months) were sent the letter on the same day to give everyone the same opportunity to join. The membership scheme was not open to new patients.

    We did not expect it to happen quite so quickly but we have now reached our maximum capacity, and sadly do not have the resources to accept any further patients at this time. We do not want to be in a position where we are unable to provide patients with the service they have signed up for.

    We are acutely aware that many of our loyal patients have missed out at this time and would like to reassure those patients affected that we are actively looking at how we can increase our capacity. In the meantime, we will do our best to see any of our regular patients if they require emergency treatment until we’re able to resolve our capacity issue.

    If anyone who did miss out would like to be contacted when we do have additional capacity, please let us know and we will add you to our waiting list. As capacity becomes available we will contact patients in order of their position on the waiting list.

    The easiest way to inform us should you wish to join the waiting list is to email us at info@hexhamdentalclinic.com as we are aware that our reception team have been overwhelmed with telephone calls and patients coming in to the practice. In your email, please state your full name, date of birth and preferred plan. You will receive an email reply confirming that you have been added to the waiting list but due to demand this may not be an immediate response.
