Hygienist Services – Treatment and Prevention
Our hygienist offers comprehensive treatment / prevention of periodontal (gum) disease which is the biggest cause of tooth loss, bleeding gums and bad breath.
Perio1: Basic maintenance, simple scaling & polishing, minimal staining in a patient whose gum health is stable. £50.00 (Per visit)
Perio 2: Removal of more extensive staining, maintenance visit for a patient with less stable or extensive gum disease, removal of larger amounts of tartar/calculus. £82.00 (Per visit)
Perio 3: Intensive cleaning for patients with generalised or localised gum disease. Deep cleaning of gum pockets, removal of significant deposits of tartar, often under the gums and sometimes removal of pus from the gum pockets. Removal of thick heavy staining. Local anaesthetic may also be required. £121.00 (Per visit)
GBT: Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) is a gentle, advanced dental hygiene treatment that uses guided technology to safely remove plaque, stains, and harmful bacteria for a more comfortable and effective clean. Starting from £98; however available to Plan patients as an upgrade from £48 per visit
